The aim of a death cafe “is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives”.
We are inviting students and staff from the school of healthcare sciences and the school of philosophy and religion to attend this event, and may open it up to the wider university in the future.
The Death Café will be facilitated by: Benjamin Turton, St Davids Hospice Lectureship in Palliative and End of Life Care, Bangor University
Alexandra Wilson, End of Life Doula, Interfaith Minister, Funeral Celebrant, Grief Counsellor and Bangor University Honorary Lecturer of Spiritual Care
