Diddordebau Ymchwil
Mae Gwerfyl Roberts yn Uwch Ddarlithydd yn yr Ysgol Gwyddorau Gofal Iechyd, Prifysgol Bangor. Mae ei phrif ddiddordeb ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar gryfhau a gweithredu’r sylfaen dystiolaeth dros ymarfer priodol o ran iaith mewn iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol. Mae wedi cael ei chomisiynu gan Lywodraeth Cymru i arwain LLAIS, y canolbwynt cefnogi methodoleg ymwybyddiaeth o’r iaith Gymraeg i’r Sefydliad Cenedlaethol Ymchwil Gofal Cymdeithasol ac Iechyd (NISCHR). Mae Gwerfyl yn aelod o Dasglu Llywodraeth Cymru dros y Gymraeg yn y Gwasanaeth Iechyd ac o’r Grŵp Llywio Gweinidogaethol ar gyfer Fframwaith Strategol 2012-2015 i Wasanaethau Cymraeg mewn Iechyd, Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Gofal Cymdeithasol. Mae’n ffigwr amlwg ym maes darparu addysg nyrsio cyfrwng Cymraeg, ac mae hefyd yn cynrychioli’r disgyblaethau iechyd ar fwrdd academaidd y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol a sefydlwyd yn 2011.
