Case Study 1
Acute anxiety is a deeply dreadful feeling that stops all enjoyment of life and places a heavy burden on those I work with and my loved ones at home.
Stress impact assessments have helped to match my work to a level that I can cope with, allowing me a home/life balance.
The occupational health practitioner monitors my anxiety levels and arranged for me to attend the Bangor University ‘Mindfulness’ programme. I am now more positive about my inner strength and realise that the negative views I had perceived from others are of little consequence.
The support I have received at work has most definitely improved my mental health and is having a most positive effect on my quality of life.
