Your local induction will take place at College, Departmental and School level. This section contains all the relevant information regarding local induction.
This session offers an introduction to, and overview of, the wide range of research support offered by the Research, Innovation and Impact Office (RIIO). RIIO provides a responsive and proactive support service for academics and researchers, including information about funding opportunities, help and advice with funding applications, financial management of the grant portfolio, guidance on REF and Impact, technology transfer, working with businesses, assistance with IP and contracts, major projects and collaborative opportunities. Furthermore, staff from the Doctoral School and HR involved in Researcher Development and support will provide information on other relevant training and support available.
