The University offers staff many opportunities to continue  their further education and noted below is information about the courses provided by¬†Lifelong Learning and Education.

Are you interested in doing some part time study with Lifelong Learning in the new academic year?

Lifelong Learning provides high quality and flexible part-time educational opportunities across North Wales - from short, 1-day courses to part-time undergraduate and Masters level study. We have centres at Bangor, Wrexham and Mold with teams working to develop stimulating and relevant lifelong learning programmes, through the medium of English and Welsh, which are delivered in communities and workplaces.

We offer a wide range of subjects, which include comprehensive IT provision, Business Management, Modern Languages, Welsh for Adults, Literature & Creative Writing, History, Social Studies, Community Development and Fine Art. Many of these are closely linked to your continuing professional development.

Concerned about fitting study in with work/home commitments?
Lifelong Learning understands very well the time demands placed on individuals and is keen to offer and support flexible learning to enable you to make your studies practically possible and enjoyable. The choices of study times are wide ranging. For example, the majority of our courses are offered in the evening. Some modules have the occasional Saturdays and we also have some very popular residential study weekends. We have modules you can study over the internet, allowing you to study at any time of the day and there are some modules available through distance learning.

MEd/MA Programme - School of Education

Education offers part-time weekend courses that are very flexible, each student building their own course from a wide selection of modules and spreading their study over one to five years, or more. If you have an interest in your own personal or professional development in aspects of education, including counselling, special needs and early years education.
