Researcher Development & Concordat Group
The Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers is an agreement between research funders and UK Universities which sets out the expectations and responsibilities of researchers, their managers, employers and funders in relation to principles of researcher’s career development.
The Researcher Development & Concordat group was set up in 2015 in order to help implement and embed the principles of the Concordat. The group brings together key support staff as well as academic representatives from across the University (see below). The group meets quarterly and reports directly to the University’s Research, Innovation and Impact Strategy Group and the HR Task group under its Terms of Reference. The minutes of the meetings are also shared with the College Research Committees.
