Incoming Students - English Language
Our modules are taught and examined in English, so it is essential that International students are able and well-prepared for study at our University.
Unless you need a Visa to enter the UK, we do not normally require European Union students to provide an English language test certificate.
If you require a Visa to enter the UK, you reside outside of the European Union and/or live in a country where English is not your native language, you may need to provide an English language test to confirm that you meet the minimum standards for Bangor and the UK Border Force.
Additionally, our English Language Unit, ELCOS, offers a range of English language courses to help prepare and support students with their studies.
View details of the Summer Courses we have on offer by visiting the ELCOS website.
