Why is Bangor University a good choice for the course you are studying?

Bangor University is one of the top universities for Business Studies. The infrastructure provided by the university is note-worthy. The Library always has most of the books/journals that are useful for my studies. The online library makes it is easy for students to surf and browse the books available in the library and most of them can be read online too.

Tell us what you like about academic teaching quality at Bangor University?

The professors are supportive and are happy to help us and the quality of the lectures are also more than satisfactory. The academic workload is so balanced that it does not eat up our free time and we can concentrate on other extra-curricular activities too.

What is the social life like in Bangor? Are you involved in any societies or sports teams? How easy it is to make friends here?

This city is more than simply awesome, people will find it easy to find and make new friends here. The various clubs and societies in the university arrange many programs and social events quite often, those guys exceptionally welcoming.

Your experience of living in university accommodation OR private accommodation?

I live in private accommodation, located just 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the university and less than 5 minutes from the high street. The cost of living in this city is cheap.

What do you think about Bangor and the surrounding area?

The beauty of Bangor is so alluring that once you have visited Bangor, you may not feel like going back to your home town. Bangor is rich in natural beauty and there are some awesome places around Bangor within an hours journey. The Snowdonia national park is another attraction close to the city.

How confident are you that Bangor university degree will help you in taking your career forward?

A degree from the United Kingdom has a high reputation and acceptance in my country, India. Currently, the course that I am currently pursuing will help me in starting up my own enterprise. As far as I am concerned, my future is in my home country, the university have been able to teach me most of the business concepts and its practicalities. A UK degree has a high demand in India and the effort you put in your studies in Bangor wouldn’t go to vain.

What is the highlight/best thing about being a student at Bangor?

The lecturers, infrastructure, extra-curricular opportunities, social life, events in the university and the supporting staff are all excellent. What I liked the most in Bangor is that the teachers were illing to help the ones in need and supporting teams in the university. The international office is always ready to help and they respond to our queries without any delay.
