Service Status Alerts
This page provides an overview of the status of major network and IT systems services by means of a ‘traffic light’ system – green indicates everything is as it should be, red indicates a serious failure. As the University network is spread over a large area it is possible that network faults and power failures faults will only affect local systems. If they occur in the central IT Services facilities however they may have considerably more impact.

Scheduled Maintenance activity
Network maintenance is carried out on Monday evenings starting at 18:00. We aim to be finished by 21:00, but major work may take longer.
When we know that particular areas of the network will definitely be affected, we put specific announcements on MyBangor.
However, all areas of the network should be considered “at risk” on Monday evenings.
