About me:

I have a PhD in Molecular Parasitology (Leeds) and an MSc in Information Studies (Leeds Met).  I have worked in many libraries and most recently as Information Specialist managing a specialist electronic library for NHS Evidence, and as Information Specialist for the Warwick Evidence Technology Appraisal Reviews team.  I came to Bangor in 2012.  As well as supporting staff and students in the College of Physical and Applied Science, I have an additional role in co-ordinating Research Support across the Library and Archives Service.

Teaching/Enquiries:

I provide support and training for students and staff, covering searching for information, choosing and using the information, and referencing. Email me, call or find me at the Deiniol Library for enquiries, or to book longer one-to-one sessions.  Academic Staff, please get in touch if you would like me to deliver information searching, evaluation and referencing training to your students.  These can be tailored to highlight specific chemical, electronic engineering or computer science resources.

Research Support:

I support research staff and students with in-depth literature searching, managing references and publishing, including open access publishing.  Please contact me for further information.  Click here for further information about Open Access publishing.

External Support:

We welcome visitors to our libraries; I provide support for research in the areas of Chemistry, Electronic Engineering and Computer Science.  Click here for further information for visitors to the Library and Archives Service.
