1. What is Academic Support?

The Academic Support Team is a team of information experts whose role is primarily to help library users get the most out of the information available to them, whether from within the University's resources or elsewhere. Each College has its own Liaison Librarian. If you are a member of academic staff who would like to enhance the information literacy skills of your students you can make an appointment with your College's Academic Support Librarian to discuss the development of sessions tailored to the needs of your student group.

If you are a student looking for sources of information for an essay, dissertation or other academic work, and need some help using library resources, contact the Academic Support Team for some guidance and tips.
