Information for Visitors
Welcome to the Bangor University Library and Archives Service
Bangor University has two open access libraries, covering a wide range of topics.
Anyone can visit us during our staffed service hours and browse our collections on a reference basis without charge. It is a good idea to check our library catalogue prior to your visit so that you know in which branch an item is located.
If you want to borrow from our collections you can apply to join free of charge through local or national reciprocal borrowing schemes such as Linc Y Gogledd or Sconul Access. Please read our borrowing webpages for further information.
Visitors can also access a range of onsite library facilities such as on campus access to some E-Resources , microfilm viewing equipment and photocopiers (charges apply). We are happy to receive enquries via email: library@bangor.ac.uk
Our Archives and Special Collections hold many unique manuscripts, printed material and rare books. Once registered with the Archives, our collections are open to the public and can be consulted in the Archives reading room. Please see the Archives and Special Collections webpages for more details.
