Alison worked at the Mood Disorders Centre at Exeter University in various roles from 2008 - 2017 including: Lead therapist for the PREVENT trial, MBCT Lead for the NHS funded AccEPT clinic and Programme lead for Mindfulness-based Training Programmes
Alison also a co-founded the Mindfulness Network CIC with Willem Kuyken in 2012 which she now co-directs with Rebecca Crane. Alison has a particular interest in Mindfulness-based Supervision (MBS). She worked closely with Cindy Cooper and Jody Mardula and other collegues in developing understandings about the nature of MBS and articulating a framework in an article “A Framework for Supervision for Mindfulness-Based Teachers: a Space for Embodied Mutual Inquiry". http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s12671-014-0292-4
Alison and Cindy worked together closely in Cindy’s last working years in developing and delivering MBS supervision training within the CMRP and as co supervision leads within the Mindfulness Network CIC. In 2017, Alison decided to concentrate her work on MBS. She joined the CMRP team to develop and deliver ongoing training for mindfulness-based supervisors. This ties in closely with her work in the Mindfulness Network CIC and her research for her Doctorate in Clinical Research, which focusses on MBS.
Gill is a committee member of the CMRP Friends of Bangor Alumni group. She works as an independent mindfulness teacher with general public and workplace groups in West Surrey, patients in hospital settings and school communities (as a Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP) trained teacher). Her mindfulness experience includes the very personal experiential training that comes with living with pain; various retreats/courses with CMRP, the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Breathworks and MiSP; and currently more formal training of the Bangor Masters programme. She is particularly interested in supporting the cultivation of good mindfulness teaching which can sustain participants after completion of the 8-week course.

Finance Terms & Conditions
Invoices are only raised where the employer is paying, however this method can slow down the process and payment by the participant is recommended. No place is secure on a course until full payment has been received. Once an invoice has been raised the course place is dependent on prompt payment, if the CMRP invoice is not paid on time the course place is released for other participants on the waiting list. This process reduces last minute cancellations, ensures that invoices are not raised then left unpaid and that all course places are allocated. So that you do not lose your place due to financial issues we advise that if you are requesting an invoice to be raised that you communicate with your employer to make payment within the timeframe detailed on the invoice.
Responsibility for payment remains with the course attendee, if the employer does not pay the invoice the applicant will be liable to make payment or meet the cancellation charges.
After submitting your application you may withdraw your application 8 weeks prior to the event commencement date at which point you will be offered a refund, minus 20% admin fee. If you cancel your place on a course within 8 weeks of the event commencement date, no refund will be offered.
In the unlikely event that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the course has to be cancelled by the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP), we will refund any fees paid to us by delegates. Our liability is limited to refund only CMRP event fees. We recommend delegates have adequate insurance to cover any cancelled travel or personal expenses.
