Year Abroad Photography Competition (2017/18)

The School of Modern Languages and Cultures is delighted to announce the results of the Year Abroad Photography Competition (2017/18).

This year there were two categories in the competition:

Landscapes/Cityscapes and People/Customs/Activities and therefore winners in each division and one overall winner. 

Congratulations to Daniel Lee for his overall winning photo 'Sunset over the Port of Cagliari'. Daniel also won the First Prize in the Landscapes/Cityscapes category.

The runner up in this category  goes to Sophie Hayes for 'The descent of mist at dusk in Requena' and the third to Emily Jealous's The Setting Sun leaving La Laguna in shadows'.

The Second Prize was for Becca Kirkby photo 'Elly sees the Colosseum for the first time' and the third winner in this category was Daniel Lee's 'Up above Naples - The summit of Vesuvious'.
