Bangor research featured in the Spring Issue of Chartered Forester magazine
Articles by Professor John Healey and Genevieve Agaba from Bangor University feature in the recent Spring 2018 Issue of the Chartered Forester magazine published by the Institute of Chartered Foresters. John co-authored a piece titled ‘Model-aided biosecurity’, showcasing the findings of the FOREMOD research project that explores the potential for modelling to inform forest policy and management decisions on tree disease. Genevieve wrote about her PhD fieldwork in Uganda on the roles of trees in rural smallholder livelihoods, supported by an ICF Educational and Scientific Trust grant. Her research feeds into an Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) funded project known as ‘Trees for Food Security’, led by the World Agroforestry Centre.
