`Why write the history of Wales – then and now?’, Professor Huw Pryce

The O`Donnell Lecture 2019

Location:
Lecture Room 4, Main University Building, Bangor University
Time:
Monday 25 March 2019, 18:00–19:00

At a moment when the opportunities to learn about Welsh history are a topic of public debate in Wales, it is timely to consider approaches to writing the history of Wales both in the past and recently. That is the aim of this lecture. Huw Pryce is Professor of Welsh History at Bangor University, and is completing a book entitled Writing Welsh History: Medieval Legacies and Modern Narratives.

The lecture is presented in conjunction with the University of Wales Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies, and all are welcome.
