BJMACP will give a lecture on the Appreciation of Chinese Gardens and Chinese Plant Culture at May 2019 from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm The lecture aims to introduce interesting details about the development of the traditional Chinese garden and will showcase the landscape of different gardens in north southeast and south China. This will be followed by an interactive workshop on Garden Architecture.
Beijing Municipal Administration Center of Parks (BJMACP) directly manages 11 municipal parks with historic value in Beijing amongst which are the Summer Palace, the Temple of Heaven, Beijing Botanical Garden and the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture. These municipal parks welcome more than 100 million visitors annually, and play an essential role in disseminating knowledge about Chinese cultural heritage, education and science. BJMACP plays a huge role in ecological conservation and classical culture, and has been awarded several honorable titles — “State Popular Science Education Base”, “Beijing Popular Science Education Base”, “Beijing Environmental Education Base”, “Beijing Top 10 Ecological Tourism and Birds Observation Site” and “Institution of Open-minded Science Practice of Beijing Municipal Education Commission”.
