Session Overview
As part of Bangor University's Athena SWAN initiative, a series of lunch-time events featuring senior female Bangor academics will be held over the next few months. These will be “in conversation with”-style events in which the speakers reflect on their personal career paths, share their experiences of being a female academic at Bangor University and offer practical advice to those at earlier stages of their academic careers.

Professor Raluca Radulescu and Dr Sue Niebrzydowski from the School of English Literature and Professor Angharad Price from the School of Welsh have all kindly agreed to talk about, and reflect on, their experiences in the Arts & Humanities. Between them the three speakers have a broad range of backgrounds and experiences in academia and will be able to provide interesting and inspirational insights into their different routes into an academic career.

We hope this session will be of particular interest to post-graduate students and early career academics. However, all staff and students are welcome.
