The International Student Support Office at Bangor University offers practical support to enable a student to successfully complete their studies at Bangor University. International students face a number of challenges when arriving/living/studying in a new country and culture and there is increasing pressure on staff when dealing with various issues. This course will highlight the challenges faced both by international students and staff through round-table discussion on how to provide advice and support. Matters such as culture shock, integration, welfare and academic challenges will be covered in this interactive session.
