A short session to provide information on the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards 2018. 

Tips will be provided on how to make a successful application and Kath Lewis, an experienced business mentor, will guide you through the various steps of the application process. 


The competition is now open for entries to those who are already running a business or have a developed idea. The closing date is 26th March and the Bangor Final will take place on 18th April.

Who can apply?

The awards are open to current undergraduate or postgraduate students of Bangor University and Bangor University alumni who have graduated within the last two years. Entries can be submitted from individuals or groups.


Over £90,000 worth of equity-free seed funding available in total

Mentoring and support from business experts

Exclusive access to an acceleration week

Additional cash awards will be offered to the Bangor finalists in both categories and the winning entries will be entered into the national competition.

Once you’ve set up your account, click on ‘Create Idea’. Then it’s only a matter of completing all of the sections, including a video link.
