Magical History Tour
Let Bangor University’s historians take you on a ‘Magical History Tour of Ynys Môn or the Isle of Anglesey on Sunday 7 July.
Staff and students from Bangor University will be leading a guided journey through the Island’s historic landscape. This is an excellent opportunity to discover the wealth of history on the university’s doorstep. The trip will explore a range of sites from Neolithic tombs to Romano-British roundhouses and medieval mottes.
Tours are free and guided by members of staff from The School of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences. All welcome - whether you are thinking of studying at Bangor, or just keen to learn more about the history of North Wales.

Karen Pollock, Lecturer in Archaeology, School of History, Philosophy and Social Sciences and one of the tour organisers said:

Remnants of its extraordinary history from prehistoric man, the Vikings and medieval Welsh princes can all be traced in the landscape.
