What to expect on an Open Day
On an Open Day visit to Bangor University you will have the opportunity to visit Academic Schools, find out more about our courses, meet with staff and current students, view our facilites and tour our main accommodation site.

Timing of activities
Open Day activities take place from 10am until around 4.30pm but you can register from 9.15am onwards. Registration takes place in the Main University Building. The programme, which will be sent to you a few weeks before the Open Day, includes specific timings for the sessions on the day. For an idea of what to expect, take a look at the programme.

The Open Day has a structured timetable and you will need to attend organised sessions at specific times. Exact details of timings can be found in your Open Day programme and looking at our Frequently Asked Questions section will give you a clearer idea of how the day is structured and what to expect.

Regular bus tours are held from 11am - 4.30pm, where you can visit Ffriddoedd or St Mary's Village and take a look around our halls of residence. You can also find out about how to apply for accommodation during the Accommodation at Bangor presentation at 1.15pm.
Our Money Advisor can give you all the latest information on student finance and what support is available. Presentations will be held at 12.30pm and 3.15pm.

Information for International Students
International students who want to know more about applying to Bangor University will be given a presentation and advice at 2.30pm
A presentation on applying for posgtraduate study and funding will take place at 3pm
The Students’ Union
You can find out about the Students’ Union and how they are here to help you during your time at Bangor by visiting the Union stand in the Main University Building foyer.
Our sports facilities at Canolfan Brailsford have recently undergone a multi-million pound development. You can find out more at the stand in the Main University Building foyer and you will also have the opportunity to visit the centre. All students living in University Halls of Residence receive free gym and Campus Life membership!
Visit our exhibition area to speak to representatives from Student Services about student support, including disability services (staff available 10am - 2pm).
