Facts and Figures

The Planning & Intelligence team produce a range of core statistics drawn from the University’s statutory reporting to HESA and HEFCW.  We have provided some key statistics for Bangor University here, presented in a series of PDF documents: student numbers (level of study, mode of attendance, and a breakdown by academic school), student profile (gender, disability, domicile, and ethnicity), Welsh medium data (Welsh language ability and Welsh teaching load), degree classification (undergraduate class of degree awarded), student retention (in-year student retention), and staff (headcount, FTE, academic & non-academic occupational groupings, gender and mode of employment).

If you have any queries about these statistics, please contact Andrea Jones in the Planning & Intelligence team (a.jones@bangor.ac.uk)

Requests for internal ad-hoc data requests should be made to Wendy Evans (w.evans@bangor.ac.uk) in the Planning & Intelligence team.

Freedom of Information requests should be directed to Lynette Hunter (l.d.williams@bangor.ac.uk) in the first instance, in the Policy & Legal Compliance team.
