Grounds, Landscaping and Woodland Maintenance
The Grounds & Gardens section is responsible for looking after the overall grounds of the University. This responsibility is wide ranging and reflects the very diverse nature of the University estate, from trees and woodland to ornamental borders and conservation.
Although it is sometimes unavoidable, we try not to use machinery or other equipment that may disturb study, work or sleep. To assist in programming tasks and minimising disturbance, we kindly ask academic and service departments to provide us with a timetable that describes the location and timing of functions, exams or other events that will require the absence of machinery noise.
