Overall aims and purpose

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn ymarfer ac yn datblygu’r sgiliau craidd sydd eu hangen i gyfathrebu'n effeithiol ym maes gwyddoniaeth yn gyffredinol, ac ym maes seicoleg yn benodol. Nod y modiwl hwn yw rhoi'r gallu i fyfyrwyr ddatblygu trwy'r cwrs gradd a theimlo'n hyderus yn eu gallu i ledaenu syniadau a chyfathrebu'n effeithiol yn y maes Seicoleg.

Course content

Bydd myfyrwyr yn datblygu amrywiaeth o sgiliau cyfathrebu trosglwyddadwy ar y modiwl hwn. Bydd y modiwl yn cynnwys yr elfennau canlynol:

  • Ysgrifennu Gwyddonol/Writing for Science (WfS): Grwpiau bach sy’n trafod ac ymarfer sgiliau ysgrifennu
  • Lledaenu gwybodaeth/Dissemination of Information (DoI): Darlithoedd ymchwil yna waith annibynnol
  • Ymarfer sgiliau cyflwyno ar llafar mewn Seicoleg/Psychology Oral Presentation Practice Skills (POPPS): Sesiynau ymarfer grŵp bach ar gyfer datblygu sgiliau cyflwyno ar lafar

Assessment Criteria

threshold

Ateb digonol i'r cwestiwn, yn seiliedig i raddau helaeth ar ddeunydd y darlithoedd. Dim datblygiad gwirioneddol ar ddadleuon.

good

Ymdriniaeth weddol gynhwysfawr. Wedi ei drefnu a’i gynllunio’n dda. Dealltwriaeth dda o’r deunydd.

excellent

Ymdrin â'r maes yn gynhwysfawr a chywir gyda dadleuon a mynegiant clir. Ymdriniaeth dreiddgar â materion damcaniaethol.

Learning outcomes

  1. Dangos dealltwriaeth o bwysigrwydd cyfathrebu mewn gwyddoniaeth.

  2. Dangos sgiliau cymwys wrth ysgrifennu adroddiad ymchwil a traethodau ysgrifenedig, gan ddefnyddio fformat, iaith ac arddull sy'n briodol ar gyfer ymdriniaeth wyddonol.

  3. Ddangos dealltwriaeth glir a/neu ddefnydd o reolau fformatio APA ac arddull a chonfensiynau ysgrifenedig gwyddonol.

  4. Cyflwyno gwybodaeth am un neu fwy o'r prif feysydd seicoleg mewn modd rhesymegol a llawn gwybodaeth.

  5. Trafod a gwerthuso rhai o'r materion tyngedfennol a dadleuol sydd ar hyn o bryd yn cael eu trafod ym maes seicoleg.

  6. Datblygu hyder ac arddull gwyddonol wrth wneud cyflwyniadau llafar o ddeunydd seicolegol.
