Enterprise Education
Overview
Enterprise Education Development is a new role at Bangor University resulting from the RWIF fund. It will support academic staff to explore, create, deliver, review and enhance enterprise education in the curriculum. It will contribute to the strategic aims of the University in enhancing student and graduate employability, graduate start-up rates, and will be working to develop a model of best practice for our University.
This will consist of collaborative working with the Employability Service and academic staff to champion and support the provision and delivery of high quality enterprise and entrepreneurship education, developing course and module level learning outcomes, learning materials and co-delivering enterprise/entrepreneurship modules.
Enterprise education is situated within the Employability service and the B-Enterprising team.
Bangor University Enterprise Development Fund
The Bangor University Enterprise Development Fund is available for all staff in the three colleges to access with £5000 per college allocated each academic year. Once launched each year, applications will be reviewed against the specified criteria on a first come first served basis to consider the allocation of the requested funding. Whilst the funding is assigned per college, applications from individual schools are welcomed.
The purpose of this fund is to provide additional opportunities, training or events to enhance enterprise education. This can be for staff development, student skills and experience or another way to contribute to embedding enterprise into the curriculum.
