Talk to an Employability Adviser

You can have an informal (and confidential) discussion with a Careers Adviser at any stage of your university career. This service is available to current students and those who have graduated in the past three years.

We offer two types of Careers Clinic:

CV and Application Quick Check (20 minute appointment)

These appointments are for you to have your CV reviewed and cover letters checked, or if you need assistance with application forms (including online applications) for jobs, placements, or volunteering opportunities.

Careers Guidance (30 minute appointment)

These appointments offer a more in-depth opportunity to discuss your employability. This can include career planning, interview skills, further study, and anything else relating to the world of work and your future career. The Advisers can also assist with CV and application preparation.

We run clinics every weekday (Monday – Friday). Appointments can be booked online here.

You can also book in person by calling into Careers Reception (2nd floor, Rathbone Building).

If you are an off-campus student and need to speak to an Adviser, Skype / telephone appointments may be requested.
