You will normally receive an invitation to attend a UCAS Applicant Visit Day directly from the School itself; however, if you have any queries or questions about Visit Day arrangements, please contact Eleri Thomas (phone 01248 382085).

What happens during a UCAS Applicant Visit Day?

Our UCAS Applicant Visit Days give prospective students an excellent opportunity to visit the department, the University and the surrounding area of Bangor. The day begins with a welcome and introduction by a member of staff, followed by a light buffet lunch.

After lunch, lecturing staff will give more details on individual courses and both parents and students will be given the opportunity to ask questions.

Throughout the day, several of our current students will be on hand to share their Bangor experiences and to answer any questions.

The final part of the day is a bus tour of the Bangor campus, where you will be shown the University buildings, local attractions and amenities. You will also be taken to our Halls of Residence to view a room.

All UCAS applicants who have been made an offer by the School of Social Sciences will receive a UCAS Applicant Visit Day invitation. If you have not already applied and would like to attend one of the Visit Days, please e-mail us or phone 01248 382085.

If you can't make it...

If the above dates are inconvenient for you but you would like to visit us at a more suitable time, please contact Eleri Thomas (phone 01248 382085).
