Overview

Atiqur Khan is a Senior Research Fellow in Bangor Business School under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowship (MSCA-IF). As a Research Fellow, the main task is to conduct research on 'Environmental Sustainability and Bank Resilience' under the supervision of Prof Yener Altunbas. The research project is awarded by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020. His research interest includes banking system resilience, banking regulations and risk management, macroeconomic dynamics, sustainability and environmental issues in financial system, and renewable energy. He has experiences in managing research grants, and supervising HDR students.

Teaching Experience

Atiqur Khan is experienced in desining and conducting teaching & learning modules in both the undergrad and postgrad levels within the broad area of Banking and Finance. The modules include Corporate Finance, Managerial Finance, Bank Management, International Banking, Business Forecasting, Financial Statement Analysis.
