
Overview
Currently employed at Bangor university as a Research Officer, as part of the Marine Energy Engineering Centre of Excellence (MEECE) collaboration. Previously graduated from Heriot Watt Orkney with an MSc in Marine Renewable Energy. Has a solid understanding of the generating forces of the marine environment and how to integrate a multitude of renewable energy generation and storage technologies into this. Has developed capable observational, analytical, modelling and ingenuity skills, accompanied with great teamwork, communication, and the ability to prioritize workloads through two summers working at Camp America. Jack’s reliable and hardworking attitude can be exemplified by the completion of physical challenges such as gold Duke of Edinburgh expedition and Ten Tors. He makes most of his time by regularly participating in bouldering, mountaineering, and surfing.
