Overview
I am an ocean modeller, extensively worked on Regional ocean modelling, design, development, automation and testing of forecast systems for the last 10 years. Currently employed as a Research officer at School of Ocean Sciences, Bangor University (Wales-UK), focusing on developing and supporting companies on numerical ocean modelling and help to accelerate the commercialization wave and tidal energy sector. Before joining at Bangor, worked as a Senior software Developer/ Ocean Modeller at Plymouth Ocean Forecasting Centre (POFC) of University of Plymouth.
My research activities includes implementation of Ocean Models (NEMO, MITgcm, POM and ROMS). Validation of model outputs with various in Situ Observations (Tide Gauge, Current meter, HF Radar, Satellite data). Impact of climate change on renewable energy resources, Studied the Residual Circulation patterns and predicting Oil slick.
