Bangor University Digital Ambassador
Bangor University’s Marketing, Recruitment & Communications Department are looking for current undergraduate students to share their university experience on the University’s social media channels.
We’re looking to recruit a small number of digitally savvy students from who are happy to share their student life experience on social media and become Digital Ambassadors. You’ll be expected to create content to be published on Bangor University’s social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. From time to time, we may also ask to you share good news about Bangor University, its students and alumni on your own social media accounts.
You will need to post a minimum number of shareable content items every week. These could be photos or short videos that portray student life – from lectures to mountain hikes, live music events to field trips!
What’s in it for you?
You’ll be working with the University’s Digital Marketing and Communications Teams gaining some valuable skills for your CV. You’ll also have the option to work at University Open Days as well as other University events.
How to apply
To apply for this position, you will need to complete an application form, outlining why you would like to become a Digital Ambassador, explaining why you’d be suitable for the role. You’ll also need to submit an example of creative work that describes why you chose to study at Bangor University and your student experience so far. Your creative work can be one of the following:
- a blog post (200-300 words in length) with one original image included
- a series of four Instagram posts (images and/or videos) with captions
- a short video, no longer than 60 seconds
You must already contribute to public social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, a blog, Tumblr, YouTube channel etc), please provide links to your accounts.
