Sports Scholarship: “

I feel very privileged to receive a Sports Scholarship from the University. I was selected for the Welsh TKD team just a few months before coming to Bangor, and the scholarship has allowed me to travel regularly to Cardiff to train with the Welsh Squad. Without the University’s support I would not have been able to do this, and so could not have kept my place in the Welsh team. ‎I am also very grateful for the practical support that the University provides, for example by way of personal training and access to facilities. This has allowed me to develop my skills and athleticism, as evidenced by my success in the summer – achieving three bronze medals at the European Championships in Poland. I continue to build on this and am now targeting the World Championships in 2018.The continued support of the University is a key element in those preparations.”
