Bangor wins the Inter-Collegiate Eisteddfod

Welsh students from universities across Wales enjoyed a week-end of competing and socialising at the Inter Collegiate Eisteddfod, held in Bangor recently (February 17 - 19).

Students attend Ffresh Film Festival

Last week SCSM students attended Ffresh Film Festival in Newport, where their documentary "Luck" was 1 of 5 shortlisted (in the factual catergory) from projects submitted from across the UK. Master classes were given by filmmakers including Mike Leigh and Asif Kapadia (BAFTA winner, best documentary for 'Senna')

Hundreds of Chinese students have joined Bangor Business School for a spectacular celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Organised in conjunction with the Chinese Student Society, the event saw students and their families come together to celebrate the most important date in the Chinese calendar, which this year marks the Year of the Golden Dragon.
