A Bangor University alumnus has been named as the new Performance Director for Short Track Speed Skating where he will look to help Team GB achieve success heading into the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympic Games and beyond.

A local Bangor University student is well on her way to a career in academia after receiving her postgraduate degree at the winter graduation ceremony recently.

Former Ysgol Tryfan pupil, Emma Sara Hughes, 22, from Bangor graduated with a MRes Management with Accounting degree from the Bangor Business School.

Former Sale Grammar School student Tom Brady, 24, from Sale, Cheshire was awarded an MA Business and Marketing with distinction from the Bangor Business School.

Inspirational student achieves distinction whilst battling cancer

An inspirational student battling advanced prostate cancer graduated from Bangor University this week with distinction.

Ian Roberts, 46, from Y Felinheli not only graduated with a MBA in Management with Distinction, but was also awarded a prize for the final year postgraduate student with the best performance in business, management or marketing.

Sara lands her dream job

A Bangor University student has landed her dream job of designing and developing foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate business courses as well as teaching after completing her PhD.

Former Upton-By-Chester High School student, Sara Fisher, 27, from Chester, recently received a PhD in Management from the Bangor Business School. Sara’s higher education journey began at Bangor eight years ago when she began a BSc Product Design degree.

Student Christmas Market attracts record numbers

Students from across Bangor University and Grwp Llandrillo Menai took part in the running of 65 stalls at the Student Christmas Market held on 4 December attracting over 1600 visitors. It was fantastic to see such a diverse range of locally made merchandise on offer this year.
