2nd year biomedical student wins competitive studentship
Congratulations to Fazeelat Hamid from the School of Medical Sciences on gaining a studentship at Lancaster University funded by North West Cancer Research. Her project is “A live imaging based lab-on-chip approach to investigate cell cycle heterogeneity in melanoma” and she beat off stiff competition to be awarded one of three studentships. She will spend the summer at Lancaster working on the project.
