Bangor Law School reach Finals Weekend of national mooting competition
Two undergraduate Law students have made it through to the finals of a national mooting competition.
After several weeks of intense competition, Leah Jones and Scott Williams have reached the final eight of the Blackstone’s National Advocacy Competition, currently ranking 7th nationally.
Since the first round at the beginning of March, the pair have beaten teams from fourteen law schools: Lincoln’s Inn, King's College London, Queen Mary's University London, Manchester Metropolitan University, the University of Law, Lincoln University, Derby University, Bucks New University, Birkbeck College, Leicester University, Plymouth University, Bristol University, De Montfort University and Coventry University.
They have also, on point score alone, between the host university, the University of Hertfordshire.
Leah and Scott now face several weeks of intensive training before the Finals Weekend, which commences on Friday, 1st July.
