Maths and Stats Support

Study Skills offers individual appointments to help you work through maths and statistics problems. We typically support students in the following common areas: basic calculations; basic understanding of statistics; statistical packages (SPSS and Excel); calculations in safeMedicate; exercises; tutorial sheets; past exam papers.

The appointments are run over MS Teams on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during teaching weeks, and on Tuesdays during non-teaching weeks. We offer a choice of 20 minute and 40 minute appointments; if you are booking in for the first time, you will initially be offered a 20 minute appointment.
