Question and Answer Sessions
We realise coming to campus may be a little different this year and understand that you could have some unanswered questions, which is why we will be holding Q&A sessions on 3 different topics over the moving in period.
There will be relevant staff from across campus on the panel, which will be held across Zoom. Students can join to ask questions or just listen in, or if you want to ask questions anonymously you can use the form below to submit your question.
The topics are as follows:
Settling in session
We will have members of staff from Halls, the Housing Office, the International Office and the Students’ Union. They can answer any questions you may have about moving into a new environment and advise you on what help you can access from them through the year.
Getting involved session
We will have members of staff from the Students’ Union who will answer any questions on clubs, societies, volunteering projects and course representative. Campus life will be present who also run fun activities for students and bring the student community together.
This session will have members of support staff on the panel including Counselling, Money Support, Mental Health Advisors, the Equality and Diversity Officer and also the Library Services. This is a great opportunity to understand what services are available and how you can access them.
Dates and Times:
All questions submitted through this form will be read out anonymously to the panel.
Meet and greet the Chaplaincy Team Online
The Chaplaincy Team would normally be out and about meeting and welcoming people at the start of the academic year. As this isn't possible this year, the Team would like to offer an opportunity for you to meet them online, for them to greet you and answer any questions you may have regarding faith-related issues whilst you are here at Bangor. Come and say 'hello'. The event will be available on Teams on Friday, 16th October between 4-15pm - 6pm. If you would like to join us, please complete this short form and we will send you an invite to the online event.
