After a brief period of service in the Royal Navy Sarah Nason returned to education where she studied Law BA at the University of Cambridge and graduated with First Class Honours in 2004. During her undergraduate studies Sarah received the University John Hall Memorial Prize for Family Law and college prizes for excellence in both second and final year examinations.

She then went on to pass the Solicitors Legal Practice Course with Distinction and began a Training Contract with a major city firm.

She was appointed lecturer at Bangor University in summer 2006 and her main interests are Administrative Law and Jurisprudence, she is keen to develop the profile of teaching and research in these subjects at Bangor.
