What is the eBuddy scheme?

The eBuddy scheme is part of Bangor Business School's constant efforts to prepare new students for university life and to make them feel welcome at Bangor. It puts you in touch with a current student at the School and allows you to correspond with them over any issues that might concern you when you are planning the start of your studies.

How does it work?

Once you have applied to study at Bangor you will be invited to join the eBuddy scheme. The eBuddy will make contact with you and stay in touch with you throughout the time leading up to your arrival in Bangor. During this time you will be able to correspond with them about any subject relating to life in Bangor, such as accommodation, how to get around, your course, social life, or what Bangor is like. No enquiry is too small or trivial!

What do I need to do now?

You do not need to do anything now – once you have applied to study at Bangor, an eBuddy will be in contact with you. It is then up to you if and how often you correspond with your eBuddy.
