Refuse collection

In view of the substantial inflow of university students into private accomodation in areas within Bangor, that include; Upper Bangor, Hirael, Caernarfon Road and Caellepa, Gwynedd Council is seeking to heighten their awareness of routine arrangements relating to recycling and the collection of household refuse .

Put your household waste and recyclables out for collection at the correct time on the correct days.
The correct time to put the waste out is early on the day of collection, or late the night before.
You could face a fine for putting your waste out at the wrong time!
To ask about your collection day, request a new bin or recycling box, or to ask about bulky waste collection and much more, telephone Gwynedd Council on 01766 771000.

To conclude, students are requested to dispose of household refuse in a sensible and responsible manner whilst appreciating that their actions impact upon Bangor and affect local residents.
