-
Did you know that you can study part-time in a location near you with Lifelong Learning, University of Wales Bangor?
Then this is the course for YOU!
In the first session you will learn about the various awards which we offer through part-time study from short 10 week courses to Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees. There will also be information about what is involved in studying for these modules and awards, such as content, the level, credits, assessment, and timeframes. Advice about fee costs and funding will also be available.
You will have the opportunity to take an interactive part in lectures, seminars and workshops and you'll also be introduced to some basic IT, library and study skills which are useful transferable skills to gain, whatever your future learning plans turn out to be.
Students who are interested in gaining credits will be invited to submit an essay for assessment. You will be well supported throughout the course and there will be lots of help and guidance for those students taking the assessment. Our staff have a wealth of experience in adult education and aim to make your learning experience both interesting and pleasurable. At the end of the course you will then have the opportunity for a personal advice and guidance session to discuss your future interests.
This course is generally offered in June/July to allow you time to decide whether part-time study is for you and how you would like to proceed, before the semester starts in September.
This course is FREE of charge however, pre-registration is required.
