Gwynedd Celebrates Success at 10th Annual Business Week Awards

The Management Centre has hosted the 10th Gwynedd Business Week Gala Dinner. This was the closing event to a busy week of events across Gwynedd, with live music, a delicious 3-course meal, guest speaker and an awards ceremony. The guest speaker was Dr Fraser C Logue, Vice President and Managing Director of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Products Ltd.

Gwynedd Council awarded the following three businesses for their contribution to the local economy-

Harlech Foodservices
Parciau Gwyliau Y Bala
Zipworld

Gwynedd Business Network, who also celebrated their 10th birthday, presented an award to Chris Allwood, Managing Director of Welsh Slate as 'Business Person of the Year'.

The Gwynedd branch of the Federation of Small Businesses presented Louis Hiatt of Scrubadub from Aberdyfi with an award as the 'Young Business Person of the Year'.

As a special recognition for his work as Chairman of PEG, Dafydd Iwan was presented with an award from Cllr. Mandy Williams-Davies.
