About This Course
As Wales prepares for the 2026 elections, the clash of political ideologies has never felt more urgent. This short course dives into six of the big players shaping our world today: liberalism, conservatism, socialism, nationalism, environmentalism, and postcolonialism.
Over three weeks, we’ll explore where these ideas come from, what they stand for, and how they speak to the challenges of our times. From identity and justice to the economy and the environment, we’ll unpack how these ideologies shape our lives and our future.
This is not just political theory. It’s an invitation to think critically about the forces shaping our society and to decide what kind of future we want to build.
