Top 5 Reasons to Live in Halls
Our accommodation is modern, spacious and conveniently located so it’s no wonder we’ve been consistently rated as being amongst the best university halls in the UK. Most recently, we were rated in the Top 10 for Halls and Accommodation at the What Uni Student Choice Awards 2024.
Our accommodation conforms to the The Universities UK Code of Practice for University Managed Student Accommodation. This protects your rights to safe, good quality accommodation, wherever you are studying.
Both our student villages are within walking distance of the main University buildings, shops, cafés, bars, fitness centres, launderettes and common rooms, so you’ll never have to go far to find exactly what you need.
The following are included in the cost of Halls:
- All bills (water, heating, electricity)
- High speed Wi-Fi
- Timely repairs and maintenance
- Contents insurance
- Gym membership
- Weekly cleaning of kitchen (not studios) and public areas
If you live in Halls, you’ll have automatic gym membership meaning you can use both the main Gym at Canolfan Brailsford at the Ffriddoedd Village and the Fitness Room at St Mary’s Village, regardless of where you are living. You’ll also have automatic membership of Campus Life which gives you access to a whole host of activities and events for the halls community.
