Video: The Student Experience at Bangor University

What does life look like at Bangor?

Let us show you.

Whatever you study at Bangor, the time and dedication you receive from your lectures is amazing.

I feel like a name and not a number.

The majority of my course is taught via lectures and seminars in modern lecture halls like this one.

I spend a lot of time in the labs.

The facilities are amazing.

It really helps me gain hands on experience of real life topics.

I do lots of independent study.

Could you imagine a more beautiful library?

There’s also time to relax.

The SU provides so many opportunities

whether that's taking part in sports,

joining one of the many societies on offer,

or making a difference to your community with volunteering projects like this one.

The sense of community on campus is amazing.

I live in Uni halls and tonight is games night.

I live at home and travel into Bangor, but I am still a part of the Bangor student experience, whether that's enjoying a quick cuppa between lectures or catching up with study in one of our social learning spaces.

I love going to Campus Life events.

There's something almost every night.

My favourite is going on trips.

There are lots of opportunities to improve your employability.

I'm currently gaining some hands-on experience at Undeb Bangor.

I took a year studying abroad in both Belgium and Italy and I gained a new perspective on life.

We love spending time in these forests, that's why we ride mountain bikes.

If you're struggling, the student support and wellbeing service means there's always someone to talk to.

If you're looking to walk alongside your studies, there are a lot of opportunities in Bangor.

I'm a student ambassador , which means I get paid to work at events like Open Days and even create content for the university.

Bangor already feels like home.

It's such a welcoming community and it's so easy to make friends.

I love being able to enjoy film, music and arts in one of the most vibrant student communities in the country.

What will your university experience look like?
