For this Research Seminar in Bangor University we will be joined by Peter Sandford for a presentation entitled 'The Tithe War in North and South-West Wales 1886–1895'.
Peter Sandford is a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for History at the University of the Islands and Highlands. The focus of his studies is the application of contemporary work in protest and resistance studies to empirical data gathered relating to the anti-tithe campaign conducted in rural North Wales in the latter half of the 19th century.
