Tourism Management Workshop, November 2025
The Albert Gubay Business School in partnership with the BH&HPA Next Generation Network (NGN), delivered an inspiring 3.5-day workshop at Bangor University 3-6 November 2025, designed to empower the next generation of holiday park leaders.
The workshop offered a dynamic mix of expert-led teaching, practical exercises, group discussions, and a field study tour, all aimed at enhancing strategic thinking and sustainable tourism practices. With the UK holiday park sector contributing £7.2 billion annually to the economy, the programme focused on equipping emerging professionals with the tools to innovate and lead in a rapidly evolving industry.
The workshop was organised and co-delivered by Dr Linda Osti, Senior Lecturer in Tourism Management for organising and Dr Heather He, Lecturer in Data Science/Analytics.
The initiative reflects Bangor University’s commitment to supporting industry development and fostering leadership in key economic sectors.
