Exploring Chinese Language and Culture at Pentraeth School!
Pentraeth School was buzzing with energy and enthusiasm as students took part in an engaging day of Chinese culture workshops as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. Through a carefully designed programme of hands-on activities, students explored the Chinese language and traditions in an interactive and creative way, learning by doing and discovering through experience.
Students enjoyed a Chinese language taster, where they practised simple words and phrases and discovered how Mandarin sounds and works. Creative workshops were especially popular, with students designing colourful Chinese bracelets, crafting bright paper lanterns, and trying their hand at elegant Chinese calligraphy.
Throughout the day, different groups rotated through the activities, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to experience each workshop. The atmosphere was cheerful and engaging, with students showing great enthusiasm, focus, and imagination.
